The Bible is an account of God’s actions in the world and His plan for all creation. It is believed that the writing of the Bible took place over several centuries and is the work of several authors. It is a wonderful collection of books written in very difficult styles, all containing God’s message to people. It contains stories about the lives of people --- good and bad, about battles and journeys and about the life of Jesus. It has come down to us in the form of narratives and dialogues, proverbs and parables, songs and allegories.
