The Lighthouse Series, designed on the basis of the new ICSE syllabus, is a set of course books for grades 1 to 8. The series guides the learner into learning language through the study of literature. Each course book takes a progressive approach to learning, with the chapters broken up into three levels of learning: Elementary, intermediate and advanced. The series features a set of challenging and exciting texts from a wide range of literary genres, periods and forms, followed by a range of activities and exercises that enable learning in the areas of comprehension, vocabulary, listening and speaking, grammar usage and writing.
