Manna has worked as a teacher, counsellor and trainer in the USA, the Middle East and India. She spent 10 years as a teacher with the famous Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus in the USA. During this period, she lived and worked with people from over 25 different countries and ran a one-room school for the children of circus performers. Now based in Chennai, India, she spends her time writing, consulting with schools and caring for her pet cats. Dr. Meenakshi Malhotra brings to the series her experience and enriching world view. She is Associate Professor, Department of English, at Hansraj College, University of Delhi. Gender studies and curriculum development are areas of special interest for her. Dr. N. P. Ashley is Assistant Professor of English at St. Stephen's College, Delhi. An educationist who has with schools in India and the UAE, he is deeply interested in the social content of education and theatre as a domain of pedagogy in the learning and of English. Ashley is a socio-political commentator and translator, with international academic projects to his credit.
